Chinese New Year

Dear members of the Currawa Primary School community,

We would like to take the oppurtunity to welcome you all back to the 2018 school year. We have had a thrilling start to the year, which we hope tranispires into more excitment for Currawa Primary School in the future.

We are holding a celebration on Friday 16th of February starting at 5:30pm, at the school. The celebration coincides with the Chinese New Year celebration and we would like to acknowledge this in our 'welcome back to school' celebration. We hope to make some Chinese food to share with all the people in attendance, decorate the clas in a Chinese New Year theme and share 'ang bao' with all of the children who come along.

This celebration will be a BYO food celebration and the barbeque will be provided for anyone that would like to cook their food.

Please let the school know if you intend on taking part in the celebration so that we know numbers for ang bao and the food the students will be preparing in the lead up to the day.

For those of you who are interested or didn't already know, 2018 is the year os the 'Dog' (people born in the year of the Dof are said to be conservative and full of justice).

Please feel welcome to come and celebrate with us.

Kind regards,

Tim Seal
