Are you looking for an innovative and nurturing environment for your child? You have come to the right place.
At Currawa Primary School, we take pride in promoting a friendly environment where all students and members of our school community strive for the best educational opportunities for our children. The values that we strive to emulate and underline everything that we do are Teamwork, Curiosity and Enthusiasm.
Within the whole-school classroom, we use a science-based curriculum that promotes the use of collaborative learning teams and enquiry-based learning. In other words, we strive to incorporate as much of the important Literacy and Numeracy learning areas as we can within a hands-on Science Unit that children explore each Term at school. Children have clearly defined roles within their workteams as they are encouraged to explore, ask their own questions and predict what they think may happen.
The school boasts its own school bus which enables us to connect with other schools and local organisations and participate in a large number of learning opportunities outside of our spacious classroom and Science Laboratory. The school grounds are stunning and perched below Mount Major, but above the picturesque University of Melbourne - Dookie Campus.
If you would like to know more about the school or come and see what we have to offer for yourself, please call Principal Tim Seal for more information on (03) 58 286 581 or 0427 715 219.
