Currawa Primary School, the small school where science rules, is located on The Melbourne University - Dookie Agricultural campas. The school is situated 10 km from the Dookie township and 35km from both Shepparton and Benalla. Currawa Primary School was origionaly setup in 1915 as a school for the families at the Dookie Agriculrural college and nearby farms. The school runs its own bus that travels throughout the district.
The school comprises of two main classrooms. One area has an open plan classroom where all the students are taught in one group with teachers altering the curriculum to suit the different ages and learning levels. The other classroom is mainly used as a science room. There is currenlty one teaching princapal and one permenant part time teacher who delivers our specilsed science program. There is currently 11 full time students enrolled at Currawa Primary.
