OUR SCHOOL

Currawa Primary School, the small school where science rules, is located on The Melbourne University - Dookie Agricultural campus. The school is situated 10 km South of Dookie township, is 37km from Benalla and 33km from Shepparton. Currawa Primary School was origionaly setup in 1915 as a school for the families at the Dookie Agriculrural College and nearby farms. The school runs its own bus that travels throughout the district.

The school comprises of two main classrooms. One area has an open plan classroom where all the students are taught in one group with teachers altering the curriculum to suit the different ages and learning levels. The other classroom is mainly used as a science room. There is currently one teaching principal and one permanent part time teacher who delivers our specialised science program.  There is currently 11 full time students enrolled at Currawa Primary.
