Our location on the University grounds means we have access to excellent facilities on our doorstep.
Behind us is a wonderful bush land reserve. We have access to tennis and netball courts, hall, squash courts, oval, and laboratories with many of the friendly staff at the University of Melbourne able to offer their expertise to benefit the student’s education.
Daily Bus Service
Currawa has its own bus that provides a daily service within the local area, transport a majority of the students to and from school on a daily basis. Our friendly and caring bus driver Leonie Barnes, will ensure that your child arrives safely to and from school. Our bus gives us the flexibility to participate in spontaneous learning experiences and attend regular excursions such as cluster days, swimming, excursions and sports days.
Safe Bush Setting
Currawa Primary School is located in a shady natural bush setting on the hill overlooking Dookie Campus. The School is part of a safe and supportive University community. The school’s buildings have been recently refurbished as part of the federal governments BER program, as well as, the Victorian governments School Bushfire Protection Project. This has given the school a wonderful new look, without losing some of the school nearly 100 year old character.
Our wonderful and caring staff members will ensure that your child gets the very best start to their education in a family orientated and focused school environment.
